Henna Designs in Washington, D.C.

Doing the new all natural no PPD's Jagua black Tattoo designs in Washington, DC was fun this May.The Jagua is from Earth Henna of California. Earth Henna called to inform me I had been picked to receive a gift box with their Moroccan Henna design paste kit,the Earth Jagua Body Art Set, and CD, 'Land of Jagua'.I had to get used to it but then I must say I enjoyed working with it. Now I am back In California until the first of June and I look forward to doing more Henna Mehandi hand and henna feet designs and working with the safe Jagua for my black designs.

Henna Designs Art in Washington D.C.

I have meet some beautiful women doing Mehndi Body Art and Temporary Tattoos this simmer weather they are customers or fellow vendors. I am looking forward to a few upcoming events before I pack my bags and start to travel for the winter months. First stop: The Nehterlands in southern Holland in Masstrichet to see my youngest son Aaron and family. I have some ladies there wanting henna for the hoildays. Second stop: Egypt. There I plan to learn more about the henna plant in Nubia in Aswan and continue to learn some new designs.
Now I am up late getting ready for a all day Bazzar tomorrow and then Iftar and Henna Party tomorrow evening. So I will see you all back here after Eid to showcase some more Henna Mehndi designs.

July was a fun month for mehandi henna designs here in Washington D.C. I have meet some beautiful women who all had a true love or interest in henna mehndi designs and body art. Now we move into August and beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan and I look forward to doing more henna designs.

Eastern Market Street Fair and' Henna/Mehndi

Eastern Market
The Saturday street fair celebrating the re-opening of Eastern Market was a pure joy for me. Now only did I do henna, but I meet
some very wonderful women, plus one gentleman who wound up being a spokesman for me while I worked.
Of course my most pleasant surprise was the discovery of the amount of people who were familiar with Henna Mehandi, Mehndi and its art and application.
I have had a few calls about the staining of the henna so I have decided to post some information here in about the 'curring process' of your henna design. Once the past has dried and removed you will see a bright orange color. This color will deepen to its full depth within 48 hours from the time of application and in a few cases it has taken 3 days. This is why I call it a 'Henna Experience' because it's like it has it's own surprise in store for you as you forget about it then look back to see it has darkened since the last time you looked!
So enjoy your Henna/Mehndi and the many days of wear.
